Bishop Robert A. Ellis

Bishop Robert A. Ellis  Was Born in July 1963 to the Parentage of the late Mr. Jessie L. and late Mrs. Era M. Ellis.   He Was Brought Up In The First Full Gospel Pentecostal Church Under The Leadership of the late Bishop H. Smith and late Pastor Helen Smith.

Later He Moved His Membership To Tabernacle Of Deliverance Church Under The Leadership of the Late Pastor F. J. Van Zandt and late Pastor Mary Van Zandt, Where He Received Christ Into His Life In 1980. He Served Under This Ministry For Eight Years As Youth Leader and Musician.

After Serving Under The Leadership of the Late Pastor Van Zandt,   The Lord Led Him To Go Back To His Home Church, Under The Leadership of Bishop Harold and Co-Pastor Helen Smith.   He Served Under This Ministry For Four More Years As Choir Musician And Associate Minister.

After Serving Under The Leadership of Bishop Smith, He Was Led To Go Help His Brother Pastor D.C. Ellis Start His Ministry. He Served as Assistant Pastor under the Leadership of Pastor D.C. Ellis for four Years. After serving under his brother’s ministry, The Lord Called Him to Pastor.

Bishop Robert Ellis Started and Founded The Pure Pentecostal Word Church Inc., April 21, 1997. The church name was changed to: The Pure Word Church Inc. on February 6, 2004. Bishop Ellis Has Been Pastoring Along With His Wife Co-Pastor Johnnie E. Ellis For Twenty One Years. The Church Is Located In Lancaster Texas Where God Is Continuing To Bless The Ministry Greatly!

Bishop Robert Ellis Has Been Married to Co-Pastor Johnnie Ellis for Thirty Six Years; They Have One Daughter Shanetta, Son-In Law Courtney and Two Grandsons Anthony and Courtney and Two Granddaughters Naomi and Jada.
